Manchester City can take one step closer to qualifying for the Champions League last four when they face Bayern Munich in the quarter-final first-leg on Tuesday.

Pep Guardiola’s side progressed past RB Leipzig to get to this stage of the competition and will need to beat another Bundesliga side if they want to win the tournament this year.

Speaking in his press conference, Guardiola said: “We want to try against an elite club like Bayern Munich. You have to deserve it, we try to do the first tomorrow. The question comes six, seven years ago. it comes every single season. We tried every single season but there are teams that you face that they are good too.”
